Diamondback backed yew recurve
« on: May 24, 2021, 04:50:50 pm »
I built this bow awhile back and did a build along for it. I have the bow away and never got full draw pictures of it until a few days ago when my friend brought it over for so I could get a full draw picture.
It’s 62” long, yew with diamond back rattlesnake, and African Blackwood tips. I got the idea for the tips from the friend whom I have the bow. Those tips were tedious to do and get to look symmetrical.
It draws 51 Lbs @27”. The grip is mahogany leather dye with the tennis racquet grip.
Not sure why I can’t get the photos to look normal. Never had this problem with having to compress them where they blurry

Great looking bend and great articulate finish work to get a great looking bow.I'd be proud of that one.

That’s a sick bow! Your recurves are awesome and the tiller is stunning. Nice work!
