kidder, do you use a rope and pulley?
By the time I am done tillering the bow is pretty much stabilized.
I exercise the limbs 10-12 times after each little wood removal.
i think you just fiddle with the nock point as Badger said
Jawge
Yes - rope and pulley. When I tiller I pull the bow anywhere between 1 and probably 3 dozen pulls and film it for part of it. I also exercise the limbs 20 times on the floor per limb anytime I take off any wood (in this case the tillering was entirely by sanding). I’ve also shot this bow 100 arrows or so before I finished it and then probably another 200-300 arrows, got my arrows matched to spine and cut to length and were flying absolutely perfectly before it suddenly started to seem to kick the arrows off the bottom of the shelf like it would if the nock were too low. I started nocking the arrow above the nock with minimal difference. I initially thought maybe the string had stretched and effected the nock point but the brace height hasn’t changed and moving the nock point has minimal effect.
