90lbs+@30" Pacific Yew 75"ntn

(1/3) > >>

Ruddy Darter:
I started this a while ago but it got shelved when it was not working out right. I just reworked it and put on new dimensions the whole length (31x33mm at the handle). Tiller seem ok? Thought I'd ask before I put more oil on.
It's quite a low ring count, and sapwood was reduced to About 5mm. 75" nock to nock. Physical weight 734g or 1lbs&10oz
1 coat of Danish oil, going to put on another 2.
(Sloppy camera work, I chopped my bow hand a little  in pic. ::))

RyanY:
Nice work! Looks pretty circular. Some people prefer that and others prefer a more elliptical shape with a bit more bend in the outer limbs. No doubt it’s very symmetrical and even.  :OK

Ruddy Darter:
Thank you RyanY,
The first attempt with larger dimensions gave me a bit of a headache, second attempt worked out for the better :D.

Looks great, nice tiller and perfect form drawing it, well done.
Love those wiggles along it's length.

Yooper Bowyer:
Is it perspective, or dose the lower limb bend more?
