A funky bow a friend made.

Here is my friend's first really successful bow... its pretty funky and I hope it holds up for him. its a osage stick I cut of a tree about 2 years ago only 2" in diameter... Took the bark off and he just picked it up and made a bow from it. the bow is 60" long 1.5" wide 25-30#@26" and holds some reflex. the handle is dogbane fibers. Tillers a little funky but it's holding its profile, and it is FULL of branches poking off the sides  (lol) (lol)

I've made a few of these osage "pole" bows with 2" diameter poles and really like them. The ones I made were in the 45# to 55# range.
