How much does it usually cost to ship to euro from the states?

Depends, a 40 inch long parcel from UK to the US is about $30, a 65inch long parcel is about $70

I'll build a backup bow.
Great! Hopefully everyone pulls through on their primary bows. If that’s the case and we have reserves available maybe you guys can get in a second trade - I’m happy to facilitate if that becomes the case, but it’s up to you guys ultimately. Let’s hope that’s the case.

If i get a decent backup bow done, i would love to do a second trade! it would be nice to go into a trade with a finished product, i wont need to stress over if i can get it done.

Stuckinthemud....how long has it been since you've shipped something? My trade bow went from pa next door into Ohio and cheapest I could send it FedEx was over $40. If I wanted a tracking number it jumped to $70

I got the price off a web site right before I wrote the post. It was via UPS, but, I used a cost comparison website.  Had to try a few different sites. Most wouldn't quote on the longer package  but one site gave 4 carriers with prices going from 70 to over 200 USD , you just gotta shop around.  Last time I shipped a bow was 4 years ago, price back then was only 50 USD

If shipping from the UK use UPS direct on their website. Don't bother with any of these other sites that offer different companies, they are generally a rip off and good luck if anything gets damaged....the insurance is a waste of time, don't pay the extra for it.

I’m in. Not too picky about stats.  30-70# and 20-32” draw. More or less is fine too—whatever suits the stave and bowyer.

Just a reminder that sign up closes at the end of the day tomorrow - if you’re on the fence you better sign up soon.

We get started after Kidder sends us the information about who we are building for.

Sign up is closed! I’ll be doing the drawing later today and PMs will be sent identifying each of your recipients. As in the past you won’t know who is building for you, only who you are building for.
