Yew gaining reflex with cold and damp

I have a little yew bow stored in my tin roofed garage. Temperatures have been averaging between 2 and 6 degrees centigrade, humidity is pretty high. The bow has gained over an inch of reflex. Is this normal or does it indicate compression wood? Would you dry it out before stringing; is a high moisture content likely to cause set and/or decrease performance or does the increased reflex counter this? Is another coat or two of wax a good idea?

I would store it inside, in a non heated part of the house, or less heated and see what it does,,is it a bow or stave,,

I wonder if the belly is taking in a little moisture faster than the back?

What diameter is it? Those small branches go all over the place regardless
