I have a rawhide-backed yew recurve that I was finishing with tri-oil and noticed two hairline cracks on the belly about mid-limb. They are in an area with a cluster of pin knots on the top limb. I only noticed them after putting a couple coats of finish on the bow. I have about 200 arrows through the bow.
My question is should I sinew wrap this portion of the limb, shoot the bow as is and watch them, or??
Thanks for your thoughts.
