Lets hope it makes them a life long bow hunter. Pound for pound its prolly the fastest SB I have ever made. With a 24" arrow drawing 23" with a 70grn point my Point On is a whopping 35yds!!! That is just unreals.

How come you have got the mid and outer limbs so stiff?

Dont see it.  I do see I did not have an arrow on it so looking here it's only drawn 23 or so. Most my rigs are stiff out last 6" or so. You must have a better eye than myself.

I see the same thing. Would be good for a more convex with taper to narrow tips if that's what the width taper is.

Not worried it shoots to good to worry about stiff 6'of outer third. Its a shooter even with adult 5/16ths 28" arrow drawing to 24-25". I dont my little bear the Mark E. has 20@24" can get Point On at 35yds with same arrow. Fact I know it won't. Just a little speed monkee.

You can drop your poundage down to zilch in your limbs with wood removal, the problem is the lower you go the more critical every tiny scrape is going to be.

I have found that well tillered kids bows are the most difficult to make, when the limbs get really thin, one extra scrape can hinge a limb.

No question Eric.

That’s a nice bow HH. That’s one a kid can grow with as they both stretch a little further.

I see the stiff outer but I think at that length and draw it will hold it’s shape and be pretty speedy.
It’s tillered almost like a moly. Not quite as much but a bit similar

Yep, the biggest surprise was: I had an arrow from early 1960's, flight arrow that was broken up front. Put a 70or 80grn vintage 11/32nds point on it @24" and was bend my frontside arm so i could anchor only to 23". That little bow (shooting split finger) was hitting where i looked at 35yds. Not sure what that old arrow weighed? Maybe 275-300 grns.

I keep the bow for kids. We always have a kid who shoots and brings a friend that has no gear. So, we got that covered now. Maybe if the right kid comes by they can take it home.
