Howdy, boys. My chromebook won't post to the forum, so I've mostly been lurking lately. The kids recurve didn't work because I ended up making the curves too thin. First time I strung it up the curves pulled right out of it. Currently working on rawhide backing my old black locust flatbow, and an interesting challenge: Making a working bow for the Badgerling's favorite doll. 14" ntn, 3#@6". The kid wants it to look kind of like her full-size bow; I want it to shoot arrows (made from bamboo kitchen skewers, what else?) fast enough to actually stick in the target.
