Hickory or elm needed...
« on: December 22, 2020, 08:23:56 pm »
For trade i have a whole deer rawhide. Would make quite a few strips for backing bows or turn it into buckskin. Also have some nice osage staves that was harvested about a week and half ago. 54" to 58" is plenty long enough for me. Doesn't need to be completely seasoned. Thanks

How thick do you want it?  I have some straight and clean elm plenty thick enough for D bows.  It was cut a year ago and the only problem is some deflex that will come out with dry heat.  Elm is scarce here, but Osage is rarer.  PM me if you're interested.
