Direct percussion
« on: January 05, 2021, 10:04:49 am »
So I filled a medium box of flakes for a gent and decided to add some bifaces and preforms. I was running late to get to the post office so I was speed knapping mostly just holding the piece in hand and swinging the bopper. Mostly just removing curve or big ridges/hinges. But a few did get knocked down most the way. Bopped this out in the course of a 4 minute song and feel if I keep at that pace for making preforms I’d be stoked! Bit of pressure work and she’d be good. Needs to be a little thicker though to run a good flake pattern.
May my presence go unnoticed, may my shot be true, may the blood trail be short. Amen.

Very nice tracker. I usually go as far as I can with percussion to. Quite often a little to far if you know what I mean.

That one should clean up nice and easy
