Ya don't feel bad, I have made some pretty big boo boos myself, ??? if fact more time than I care to mention, once cut the nocks in backwards, or maybe twice. :-\ You can probably sand it off or maybe a scrapper. :) Heck you could leave it on and back the other side also. :)

They say "Gorilla Wood Glue is very heat resistant. Once cured, it is safe to heat up to 150°F." That is much lower than my normal heat treating temperature of 150°C (302°F) for 30 minutes. But we need to be careful with fumes or smoke.

I haven't backed the wrong side......yet, but I have twice cut the nock grooves angled the wrong way by mixing up the belly and the back while the bow was in the vice.... (lol)

Don't feel badly.

I strung a board bow backwards. It was a piece of red oak I inherited. It was a bow for my Kumbaro's (:)) son. I've cut nocks backwards. I forgot to compensate for knot on an osage stave and broke it. I've probably done lots of other things.
