Akila,
I love it. I have been planning a bow like yours in my head for years but wondered what was possible. I have always thought that a bamboo backed bamboo belly bow similar to the oriental/turkish type would be possible.
Have you shot it yet?
Have you got any pictures of the build process?

The syiahs  is steam bend, the wood is ash, and the splice is a V  shape splice....im sorry but i dont have photos  to show you.......the angle of the syaih is not verry sever, becose the bow is not made with sinew, so on a all bamboo bow, you shouldn't exagerate with the syiah angle....i think that 25-30 degrees is ok, for a bow like this...i also wrap the splice area with sinew for better protection....i have used bones glue...

Man, I love short bows!! ;D  But a little question.  With a bow bending that much, would you use a "circle tool" instead of the oval to check the tiller?  :o ;)  Love that bow, man.  But then I love bamboo... for everything.

My eyes is my tool... ;D..i dont   have a special tool for tillering,,,,im do all by my instinct....aniway i think that on a bow like this, you shoul try to have all the limb bending...not only a special zone...i wass trying to  make all the limb bending....so that the stress will be distributed thru all the bow...
