Happy 2021, everybody.  We rang in the new year with a good, long ski up on Togwotee pass today.   It was absolutely beautiful.  Better times are ahead!

I have not learned enough of my native languages to say much. Feliz Ano Nuevo in Spanish. Rang in my new year at work. We had a Search for a last hiker, a spin out. lots of visitors, lots of drone flying (illegal in National Parks) many different departments hit by various illness including covid, furloughs, use or lose leave. Our Law Enforcement is a little short staffed these days.

In any event, Happy New Year to all!

We hosted a New Year's Eve karaoke party at the only local watering hole that was open!  Had a good turn out and actually had to get everyone out before the legal closing!  Had an after hours private party that was quite interesting - among other things sort of a Bon Voyage to a lad heading off to basic training in the army! Finally hit the sack at 4:00 AM!  Haven't had a New Year's Eve like that since the last time we had a gig on NYE!  Btw, I even sang a few songs!  Rather well, I hope!
