Snake Bite R/D Osage bow

So it has been quite a journey since i am fairly new to bow making, but with the mentoring of "Pappy" and "Hedge Hunter" I have finally completed my western diamond back skinned Osage R/D Billet bow with Carribean Rosewood tips that I named Snake Bite.
I was hanging out at Twin Oaks one weekend probably driving "Hedge Hunter" nuts asking questions because he looked at me and said "We need to get you a new project." . We came up with a short Osage stave that would make a good billet bow. Between him and "Pappy" they helped me keep my sanity through the build. Big thanks to my buddy Clint Kauffman for taking my pictures so you could tell its a bow and not a giant blurred mess
.
It was a whole lot of firsts for me.

Here is a pic of the skins up closer. The colors are beautiful on these skins, lots of blues and greens and some white patches to them.

Heck of a job from really old short piece of barn find wood. That broad head you buried in that hard as nails oak log made me a believer.
Well done.
