Here is the display box I made for G-Monee otherwise known as Warpath...the wood is salvaged flooring from my house built in 1923...I thought the distressed wood was pretty cool plus it is easy to call mistakes "character"  ;)  It is from the kitchen so plenty of water and termite damage...the leather is cow from Ohio Amish county.  My wife makes custom leather hand bags so she gifted me a piece from her supplies.

I hope you can put it to use showing off something special.  Paul

The stave I got from TimothyR yesterday...and I did find the two scrappers as well.  Considering my scraper right now is a broken 8" kitchen knife the scrappers are also super appreciated!

I shared what I got - I am no good at posting pictures since they rounded up all of the work cameras. I will have to send it to my work computer from my phone and go from there.

Nothing to report on my end, I'm more worried that my recipient still hasn't said they've received my gift either though. I'm hoping it didn't get lost in the mail, I sent it out on Dec 16th :O I mailed it when I was at my hunting cabin and left the tracking number so I can't check on it either.

@Trevor -
Glad they got there. Been hearing stories of things taking forever through the USPO. SO far things I have sent got where they were going quickly.  I saw some photos of clubs that had single spikes in them. So, you could add one if you wanted to.

 :-D pretty awesome gifts, we all can do something pretty well that others may struggle at and make great gifts. But to be able to share these things with friends across the country is just plain ole cool and fun. I had sent river cane shafts and bamboo to a Trad guy last September. He sent me 4 Osage staves, he has access to Osage trees. Because of his generosity, I made him a knife and gave his son who is now trapping, my old small game skinning knife. Friendship is a gift in itself and usually highly valued. Jerry
