Headed back to the Butte
« on: December 10, 2020, 07:30:19 pm »
My cousin has been there a couple times now. He sent me a couple boxes of spalls. I decided to send this one back to him.

Hope he gets it before Christmas

Nice!  He should like that a lot!  From the title of the post, I thought you were going to the Buttes!

Thanks Mike I think he will really like it. And right now I suspect he might be missing his friends and home. I hope this helps get him through the holidays. He’s a good cousin and we grew up inseparable.

Thanks Jerry. It wouldn’t be going back, but I’m sure trying to get there in the first place. Sounds like my cousin might end up there for another year. If this COVID stuff gets done I’m hoping to get there and do some exploring with him.

Nice looking neck knife Brian. I agree, this covid thing has really added to my misery but when I clears up I will be touring the U.S. and heading west on a rock run.

That’s a really good looking blade, Brian. He should really like that.

I’m glad to hear that Jon. I was really hoping you can take your adventure and do some exploring. I look forward to seeing some of your finds.

Merry Christmas my friend. I know it’s Still difficult, but family, friends and a little adventure can help.
Let’s pray for a little more normal New Year

Thanks Eddie. My cousin has seen a picture of the point. He has no idea that I halved it to a antler and made a sheath for it.

I talked to him for well over a hour last week. I know he likes this job, but he only gets home a couple days a month. I’m pretty sure you know that feeling. It get harder during the holidays to. This is the first year he hasn’t come back to Michigan in well over thirty years.

Thanks kbear. Those are kinda my Bjrogg markings. I put them on my arrows and  some of my knives.

I’m hoping my cousin gets his package today. Be a second Christmas for him. Supposed to be in a parcel locker waiting for him.
