How long can I leave a heat treated bow unsealed before it begins to take on too much moisture? Current project is a 64" hickory D bow. I gave it a two hour strong heat treat over my grill last Wednesday. I have been working on it and don't expect I will take longer than another week or so but for my own comfort of mind I'd like to know how long I have to finish it out. I realize I could throw it back in the dryer but I'm not sure if that's necessary. RH averages around 50% and temps around 60-70 in my house this time of year.
