Veteran's Day
« on: November 11, 2020, 01:10:24 am »
A good veteran's Day to all who have served and to those currently serving!  May all who are directly in harm's way come home safe and sound!  Stand tall and proud!

I have my free lunch regalia out and ready to go, I usually go to Applebees, they treat us vets extra special.

Thank you all for your service. I'm not a vet but my brother is and I've sent him a message as I always do.
Thank you all for your sacrifice and service, past and present.

Thank you all who served and all who took the watch.

For those who make the ultimate sacrifice - The bugler sounds "Taps" and the piper plays "Amazing Grace"!  Both make me sad!  Some will send up smoke.  I think the rest of us just appreciate the "Thanks for your service" and the free meal!  The price has already been paid, and a "Thank you for remembering us" to those who cared!
