Went hunting last night, it was dead quiet at sunset. The leaves were so crunchy you could hear anything moving within 75 yards. 10 min till end of legal light I decided to cold call using my grunt, 2 contact grunts and a drawn out one all together. 5 seconds after calling a buck on the secondary point to my east started thrashing a tree. Never saw him but it was a good reaction. That was my first time trying that call, been carrying it around with me for 4 seasons.
