You did well :)
When evaluating a new bow my first question is does it have any handshock? If not the tiller is spot on.
One area to be careful with is the shelf and thickness transistion combo. Ideally you want the upper fade at a good thickness where you start the cut in of the shelf. You need thickness to compensate for the reduced width at the pass. Not enough stiffness in this area will cause bow explosions ;)
