My fastest bow since I bought a chrony anyway!

Here's your FDC. I just guessed at the 6" brace height. It's linear which I kind of expected from the shape of the bow.

Those are slick, I like them.
Anyway everything I've read about chronos says the tip off the arrow should be painted flat black. I've never had a problem with it but a shiny thing like that may be a problem. Squirt a little black paint on it. It will be better for hunting that way too.

DC are you suggesting that those shiny tips would give inaccurate yet consistent results? This bow has 3 inches of reflex heat treated into it. It doesnt show it but it was shaped like a braced bow as a stave. Lol I bent it with a heat gun over a chair by adding gently pressure and adjusting the fulcrum while treating the belly. What does the linear chart mean/suggest? Is this good, bad, great, terrible, phenominal?

getting consistant numbers indicates consistancy,,when I test,, I know I not gonna pull it perfect without someone to spot for me,, but Im ok with that,,
if I getting consistant numbers I know Im pretty close,, give or take,, I would have to send to DC to shoot on the machine to be exact,,

I don't know too either question. I've never had a problem with shiny tips but all the writeups mention it. A quick squirt of paint would eliminate it as a problem.
I really don't know all the in's and out's of FDC's. A straight line like that is normal for a straight bow I think. Recurves usually have a convex curve

Thanks fellas! All I know right now is that I've made two bows in my life that buried the fletchings. Most of my bows end up in the 160-170 fps range. I knew on the first shot that this one was definitely above average.
