If ya need water proof TBIII, also TBIII has a longer working time, which is nice at times. Check out their site http://www.titebond.com/IntroPageTB.ASP?UserType=1&ProdSel=ProductCategoryTB.asp?prodcat=1 I don't think Titebond makes fish glue  ??? ;D

I've always used TB II, no probs; but if glue is like razor blades and the cost is the same, go a number higher.

Go with the TBIII for backing.I got caught out in a good rain while hunting with a bow with the backing applied with TBII.It softened, then clouded badly. It was a mess to repair, but I put it back on with TBIII,and it's been wet several times, without failure. Hope this helps.  God Bless
