Whitetail buck in velvet

Robin got a pic of this upcoming shooter browsing on soybeans and a robin with her youngins at the house.The buck should grow out nicely.

That is a nice buck. I have a few on camera and the horns are starting to sprout a bit. So far we have deer, bear, coyote and smaller critters on trail camera. These are all set up in front of my cabin and sons home which is on the same property. I like to see what is going on around my place when I am not around.

Yep I like to keep an eye on the local wildlife here too.I don't own any trail cameras though.
I'm hoping that buck shed this rack last year.Might not be though.He's not a 10 point but will mature nicely yet as an 8 point.I think he's at least a 3 year old.It's too early to tell.Standing next to a mature doe he's a fair amount bigger already.

He is a nice, healthy looking buck but no doubt with all those soy beans at his dinner table. The robin and her clan look quite healthy also.

Nice buck.  He will probably add 40 lbs by November.  It's amazing the body transformation that they go through each year.

 I personally know they'll gain at least if not more than 40#'s by October.Then lose it all by december.Their in their red color right now this time of year.
The bluebirds here[relate to robins] have had their first hatch done here earlier.I've set houses for them though.Sometimes they'll raise 2 hatches.

at my grandparents land i was fishing and i saw a deer alot!! need to go out there sometime...
