yup, that about sums up the last week of turkey hunting here too.
snowed on saturday and windy as a biotch,didnt see no one hunting around here,no trucks parked on field approches or anything.
man i just love them fair weather hunters ;D
hopefully this will mean less hunting pressure on the birds,bow season starts on the 16th of may. thats when i'll be chasing them smart ol' buzzards( the wife and my youngest son,he's 18,they come too).havent seen anyone on one a piece of private land that i am allowed to hunt.so maybe these last couple of weeks of foul weather will work out in our favor.
if thurkey gods bless us this year,we could end up with three fat ol' easterns by thend of may. mmmmmmmmmmm turkey.
