Is pine resin/beeswax/flax oil mixture good for bow sealing? I'm planning on gluing a rawhide backing on it with hide glue and sealing it with the mix, and adding designs by adding charcoal powder to it. Is this possible? Or is it not a good idea?

Your mix should make a good seal, depending on the ratios. Can't speak for the design element, though.

You can mix those things together or you can just melt beeswax into your bow to have an exceptional finish, why complicate things.

Look up how to make varnish from resin. Very nice stuff and fun to make!
