Tooled leather grip.  I have no idea what the wood is--it was a pruning from a neighborhood tree.  Copper foot.  Tung oil finish.

That's nice. My wife and I carry a walking stick every time we walk around our property and have for many years. Having that 3rd contact point really helps on uneven ground and coming up hill.
I'm sure your Mom will love it.

That is neat!  I have a plum stave curing to make a stouter walking stick for Jacie!  We lose our plum tree this winter due to the young dogs not respecting protecting fences - repurposed wood!

Very nice. Might want some kind of point in that copper foot so it doesn't slip on pavement or rocks...

Well, I used a plumbing cap for the foot, but I did pound a little bit of dome into it.  Also, once you walk on the asphalt some, the surface gets roughed up and grabs the ground like a bopper grabs the knapping surface.  It won't be slick for long.

My mom's foot has been hurting for a while, so hopefully this will help with her mobility.  It's hard to see the parents getting old.

Love the copper cap, I have used bullet casing in the past. I also bought a rubber cap at a big box store for styling around town on a hard surface. John
