Osage Recurve with Copperhead Skins and Arrows 50#@29"

This is the latest project I've finished. The bow is osage, it is 64" long and pulls 50#@29". There is a layer of deer rawhide under the copperhead skins for some added protection in a dry climate. The stave had some areas of fairly high crown so to avoid razor thin edges I opted to hollow out the belly a bit to match the crown. The tips are buffalo horn and the handle is tanned beaver tail with kangaroo lace. The arrows are doug fir from Surewood Shafts with self nocks, goose feathers fletched with deer sinew with copperhead skin accents.
