Elderberry

hello Folks
two weeks ago I made this one. Nothing really Special, only the Colour: I mixed yellow, green and red earth Pigments into "danish oil" for a soft "red-brown"
Surface.
it comes out from a Little tree with a Diameter round 5 to 6 cm.
ntn 63"
weight 456 g incl. sinew and leather at handle
draw weight 44# @ 28"

Nice bow, do the handle have a gap from the side(s) because of the pith?

Lovely bow. Elder is great bow wood in my opinion.

Nice one, Hans.
I like the visible pith channel, and the unbraced profile.
Elder is really nice to work with and a good bow wood too.

Nothing special? I wouldn't say so.
Have tried to find some elder, but wasn't lucky so far. It grows a lot here but bowworthy is hard to find.
Also your tiller and the whole appearance is looking great.
