Horn slats.
« on: May 15, 2020, 09:13:50 am »
So I’m making a bow for a kid in my neighborhood who helps me keep my garage/ shop clean when I make bows. Her parents told me Her birthday is closer towards the end of the year and I was wanting to Really surprise her and do a horn hybrid bow for her. So my point of making this post is to try and get horn strips that are ready to glue down. Flat and wide and ready to be grooved and glued. I need a few pairs that are as wide and long as one can get. Can anyone help me out??? I’ll have trade points available soon Made from high carbon steel as well as I also have raw linen/flax, a large abundance of elk sinew, I have a few staves I’d trade. One of black walnut, a winding Osage stave, I’ve got some small purple heat boards I use for accents. I have a literal yew tree that a buddy sent to me form his property. Just let me know.
