Osage Pin knot question

Is this the correct way to deal with pin knots in osage? Or do you have to leave the nipple looking thing? If you know what I mean?

Looks good. The grain goes around the knot, so no need to leave a bump.

Looks good to me. I'd put a drop of super glue on it and keep on, but that's just me.

Looks good, I personally don't like to cut the top of the pin off, I just inland it off as I am chasing the ring and after in the ring I want come back and carefully scrape over it, the ring is very thin on top of the knot.  :)
