Redheart and ebiara?
« on: April 24, 2020, 10:30:36 pm »
Anyone worked with either of these woods? Some nice billets coming and was wondering about making them into limb cores. Ebiara has similar properties to maple with redheart being a little lower in durability. Also would be curious how they glue up as well then. Have a big chunk of maple coming either way, but either of these possibly for something more flashy?

never tried them myself, but a quick google search says that they are both diffuse porous and glue well.
so try them out and report back  ;D

Comes back just like what Dylan said, I checked it out before making the post, hence my comparison to maple. Was just curious if anyone had real life experience working with these
