First Through Tang
« on: April 19, 2020, 11:18:32 am »
Hi Everyone I finished this knife a couple weeks ago and thought I would post a pic before I send it to its new owner, it is the first through tang knife I've done and I learned a bunch making it.
Specsthe blade is 5.75" of 5160 steel and a nickle guard, the handle is made up of Chechen, black micarta and Bocote with copper and red fiber spacers
I polished the blade with wet/dry emery cloth starting at 400 and working to 3000 for a super clean blade. Please feel free to leave a comment or a suggestion . Todd

Sweet blade!
I really like that layered look on the handle.
I've always been too lazy to take the time ;D.
