Well during this quarantine I am having my two kids for the next 2 weeks straight because my soon to be ex wife works at Meijers. Someone from her work was tested positive for the Corona. She lives with her parents and her mom works there too. So I’m keeping them until we get past peak infections.
The only time I really have to do anything is on my breaks at work. I’ve been working on some crepe myrtle and some unknown shoots. Today I was working at a new house, I am an electrician, I saw a bush outback by the ditch. It had a few arrow shoots hiding in there. What I didn’t know was there was some inner bark gold hiding in there too.
I worked as fast as I could on my short lunch break. I cut three branches, scraped the outer bark off. The inner bark then peeled off in almost 3ft lengths. I reverse twisted 6.5ft of cordage in 30 minutes. It’s not the prettiest but I tried my hardest at keeping the thickness consistent but it’s not. It’s good enough and long enough for a handle wrap.
