Gordon, It is not the overlays that come off but the horn on the very end of the tips. They are glued flat to the end and the bottom one will come loose if the bottom limb hits the ground. By adding a pin through it , it secures it in place so it doesn't come loose.
Marc, I can see the outer limb on the top limb is quite stiff. The bottom is a bit stiff too byt not as much.
This bow will be coming to the Classic next week. She is as excited as I am.

Pappy, we very rarely see larger copper heads around here. The little ones seem more apt to strike. Just ask my dogs!
