Anyone ever tried Indian Laburnum

The scientific name is Cassia fistula. apparently it belongs to the family Fabaceae, like normal laburnum. I’ve got access to heaps of it, well, whenever the lockdown is lifted atleast.

by the way, what did do the primitive archers in your area traditionally use?

I’ve seen normal laburnums results  already but I guess I’ll just have to try this species to get an idea how it works.

I believe they use Black Palm and Bamboo here. Black Palm seems to be the more recorded of the two. I’m not sure how helpful it is but most of our native tribes are still intact.

You'll have to try it.  Families can be pretty broad in characteristics.   It doesn't appear as closely related to the common laburnum as Manitoba Maple is to Rock Maple.
