My mate Rob, who got shot in the head in Afghanistan had been shooting heavy warbows (I'd made him one)...
Problem is he fractured his arm when it got tangled in a rope felling a tree!
The docs reckon he won't be able to shoot heavy bows again
.
So... I offered to make him something to suit whatever he could manage and settled on a 45# @ 30" primitive style boo backed Yew.
I mailed it to him, 'cos his truck had broken down and he was struggling to fix it
.
I just got a message from him saying he's sorted out the arrows that fly best from it and "they go like a f*$%ing laser beam"
It was great to hear he's back shooting again as it's one of the things along with his wife and kids that help him keep his head together.

PS The other bow in the pic is a scruffy bit of Italian Yew that pulls about 85# @28" which I'm just about getting on top of!
