Take the tip off arrow,,,then wrap tip with tape till it weighs 440 grains,,, )W(

Nice job!  That is a "Done Good"!  I would think 200+ fps is excellent for almost any self bow!  Got to learn how use use my chronograph!

That's a real beauty!  I love the shape, the colors, and the idea of lilac wood.  Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a lot of hard work went into that build. Lots of nice detail work! I don't much like to comment until I see a F/D pic but I totally get not having a qualified photographer around:) Looks great.

aaron, I'm not sure what You asking :). The back is covered with goat skin.

If You look at second picture You can see natural bend forward by the handle, on the left side. That's why the upper limb seems to bend more.

I agree. That 200 fps barrier is a big deal. It sure has stumped me. And on top of everything it's gorgeous. ;D ;D

In fairness it's not a selfbow but it gives a lot of insight into what wood can do in place of horn in  a  similar design.
