Neat quiver.

You have moving water , swampy muskrat habitat you have mink.

I have seen lots of mink hunting and fishing where the creek meets river at my place. You have muskrats you’ll have mink, more the netter.

Wild mink if darker are beautiful. I saw and caught more mink when there were more muskrat habitats, wet land, swamps.

Otters are hell on muskrats. Less Otter more mink you’ll catch and see.

Yup HH Mink and Muskrats go together although I'm pretty sure the Muskrats would just as soon they didn't.
It's the pocket Wessels I've never caught much. But I've never really targeted them either.

The ermin?

I have only caught them in dead of winter killing rabbits in old stone walls. I have some ermin stashed here or maybe they are at my Dad’s place. I have only seen one here in Tenn, brown phase.

The ermine phase is pretty much only a cold climate winter coat in the mountains and the north country.  Got something to do with the snowfall as well.  They are bloodthirsty little devils, though!

Thanks guys. Guess it’s been awhile since I looked at this post sorry for not getting back to you all.

I’m going to move this one back to the top. Hopefully it helps answer a question for someone.
