SET!!! Urrrggg . I agree with most all that’s been said. I have been building a few simple composite and complex composite bows. I have had good luck with gemsbok on the back of Osage selfbows. Also bamboo back bamboo core and gemsbok on the belly. I tend to think that the gemsbok on the back is helping the induced reflex from pulling out. Gemsbok is a heavy material though . Still learning how to best use it. So I have a question . Does steamed in reflex hold any better than dry heat? Stick the bow into boiling water and it gets hot thru and thru. Dry heat one side. I have not spent any real time with steam though. Arvin
