Osage limb bow,1/2 sapwood

Made this bow from a fairly small diameter limb, the pith is visible at the handle. Deer antler tips. It is 68" long , 55# at 28" draw. I'd like to get drawing it closer to 29" by hunting season.

Looks great! I especially like the stained back - is that walnut stain perhaps? It's a really effective contrast with the belly wood.

That's a fine looking bow with a nice bend. That'll do a nice job on a deer.
