Here is my trade offering for 2019. It's Osage with a built-up laminated grip of hickory, tigerwood, and walnut. the tips are laminated purple heart and deer antler. It has 2 inches of reflex, and is 67" nock-to-nock. It is finished with 8 coats of tung oil, which has been buffed with pumice stone to give it a satin finish. It had two knot holes that did not quite go all the way through, so I filled them with blue stone chips mixed with epoxy. I think the results were pretty nice. I did leave the big knot just a little stiff for safety's sake
I went back and forth on how to finish the grip. the grain in the handle turned out better than I expected, and considered shipping it bare. But personally I prefer shooting with a leather grip, and a leather strike plate quiets the shot quite a bit too. So I compromised. the shelf and strike plate are attached with rubber cement and are easily removable, if the recipient so wishes.
The bow is 55# @28" but it will draw to 29" if it has too.
