Pheasant Hunting!!!

So I got a call yesterday by a pheasant hunting club called Pheasant Forever and I had been chosen to go on a special youth information showcase, and then hunt before the pheasant season starts here!!! remembering this brought my mood right back up after the thread tiller check!

Pheasants forever is an outstanding conservation organization.  They frequently donate vitally needed funds and equipment to our 4h shooting sports.  Up to and including shotguns

wow! we're closer than i thought Josh B! Pheasant forever also helped in some way, start the hunters education class that i took! so without them i wouldnt be able to hunt!

I got 3 phesants. Story Time! So these phesants are used to humans, released domestic birds for us kids. Some wont fly untill were about to touch them and some wont fly till we pick them up and throw them! So thats what happened with one!  My mentor picked it up and threw it and the dog went crazy on it! Its neck was broken but it wasnt as quick as a shotgun that made me kinda sad. We added it to our pockets and went on to get 2 more.  Since i got the other two i split with one of my partners and the other kid wanted the dog one, not as much blood as a shotgun. Might get pics but heres all i have for now!
