so why when i go into the archived or anything past 2007 are the pictures deleted? there's a lot of cool stuff that I want to see but isn't there.

Unfortunately a few years ago pics in old threads were deleted to make more room on the forum. It was a mistake but not realized until later.   You'll have to use your imagination.  ;)
