Looks good Marc.  I would expect no less from you.  The few takedowns I have made with those sleeves have without exception been a booger to get apart.  It's usually due to vacuum. A small hole drilled through the outer sleeve right where the two sections meet in the interior goes a long way to alleviate the problem.  The whole needs to be under where the wrap is laced together of course.  Otherwise the wrap will keep the hole sealed off.

Sweet.  I like that handle wrap a lot as well.

Lovely result from one of The Masters.
... alone in distant woods or fields, in unpretending sproutlands or pastures tracked by rabbits, even in a bleak and, to most, cheerless day .... .  I suppose that this value, in my case, is equivalent to what others get by churchgoing & prayer.  Hank Thoreau, 1857

Thanks again

I don't get that vacuum sound when I take it apart but that doesn't mean it's not one of the reasons it is tough.

The lower tip was a void in the wood.  I trimmed about 1" off the end which left the "horns" look, what I trimmed of was superfluous since I wouldn't have been able to use it for a nock
