Simply Clean Osage bow
« on: August 30, 2019, 08:56:01 am »
Hey folks, haven't posted in quite a while and was tooling around and thought I would drop a few pics of what my work is looking like nowadays if you don't follow me on social media.  Just finished this bow up, 49# @ 30" just really nice clean osage. Walnut stained beaver tail grip and nice induced reflex in the tips and grip to zip it up a bit. - Ryan

Looks great. Seems to be a fine example of good Osage too.

My favorite style, simple and clean.

Nice! Thanks for sharing Ryan. I watched you hunt Bison with an Atlatl last week. I also found a patch of River Cane in the creek down the road.....

Really just what a Osage bow should look like. Nice bend to Ryan. Always enjoy your articles in PA and the videos I've seen.
I know we can't really go 100% back in time, but it's  fun to pretend and think what it was like. To try to use as much of the tools as we can. To get a feel of how it might have been done.

Nice one, sir.
