brush-on waxes for finishes
« on: August 09, 2019, 05:19:26 am »
I have a tin of diamond hard floor wax (resins and wax polymer based), as well as several tins of tinted furniture waxes (beeswax base) from when we restored our house back in the day - the sort of waxes you brush on doors and skirting boards and leave to dry, not the paste types you rub in and buff - anyway, any thoughts on using them as a bow finish?

Not familiar with 'em, but the beeswax based should work if you can rub it in.  Grab a bow and start rubbing!  Take pics and post a rub along! >:D. You know it didn't happen without pictures (lol)!
