« on: August 10, 2019, 07:16:11 pm »
I have not been very active here recently but i just this and though it was an interesting idea. Thevideo shows something that I've been thinking about making for a while but would like some opinions on it as it seems interesting

Looks like a lot of fun.

Joerg cracks me up with his infectious laughter.

I wouldn't mind trying to make one but I have a feeling I would get arrested because someone would think its a crossbow, or an "assault weapon" with that  magazine. Australia, my state in particular has some pretty restrictive weapons laws. You can't even own a slingshot.

That's pretty cool. I like simple efficient mechanisms and that guy was fun to watch.

I love this guy, been watching him for years. He scared me once with a bad ricochet, he almost died.

I have been to OZ, love the place, fun culture, beautiful landscape, nice women, very friendly to US sailors ;) Spent a week in Perth. one of my favorite sports of call. Spent quite a few of my saved up paychecks there.

I just like to think of a the poor bastard who may ever make the mistake of breaking into his house.... From the dark you hear the distinct sound of rubber stretching, in a low voice you hear, "Let me show you its features" followed by his maniacal laugh.

He is such a nice guy I'd hope nothing like that happens of course, but if it did, imagine how intimidating that would be for the bad guy.

Pucker factor would be as high as the sound of a naked lady jacking a round into a 12 ga. And saying sweetly " How fast can you run?"' as she squeezes the trigger!

And as he runs, he hears, bye bye, and, thanks for coming.

I'd like one with six shot capacity!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
