I haven't been on this forum in years. Recently I started building bows again. This was a bow I had started years ago. I found a crack near one of the tips that would have been fatal I believe. I shortened both limbs, flipped the tips and sinew backed it. Somehow I got the lower limb longer than the top so tillering has been interesting
. It still has some tiller issues that need to be addressed but it is getting close. On the upper limb there is a knot hole dead center of the limb about 8" from the fade so I am leery of causing a hinge there so it is tough to get that portion moving. The bottom limb matches it in that it isn't bending much right out of the fades. Should be about 50lb at 27".
Once I figure out what spine arrow it will like, I hope to hunt antelope with it next year in Wyoming. It is pretty short and should be a good bow for shooting out of a blind.
