TBF I was pushing it hard for a few reasons.

It was going to be a heavy weight flight warbow for shooting big 1/2" and 3/8" "military" and "standard" arrows. Yew with an 1/4 sawn Ash back, it was just some timber I happened to have and wasn't carefully selected primo stuff... more of an experiment.
I was exercising at 100#, target 120# . I could see the middle was working hard, but just wanted to see the draw length at 110#
